Hello lovely blog readers. Today I’m doing a tag, which I feel like I haven’t done in ages. I found this one on one of my favourite book blogs, Golden Books Girl, and it was originally created by Paper Fury. On with the tag:
1 // How many books are too many for a series?
I KNOW I should probably say infinity here, but I have to admit I do get intimidated about starting series that have like…a trillion books. I do embark on series with multiple books, but I have to adore the first book to continue on. (But saying that if I adore a series I will read them till the cows come home._
2 // How do you feel about cliffhangers?
LOVE THEM. I am a pawn in the evil writer’s clutches and I am perfectly fine with that. Rick Riordan is a key offender in this department, and every time I am amazed with how he pulls it off.
3 // Hardcover or paperback?
Paperback. They’re cheaper and I can fit more on my shelf.
4 // Favourite book
I mean…it changes on almost a daily basis.
5 // Least favourite book
Hmmmm. I didn’t enjoy The Miniaturist, but I DNF’d it at less than 100 pages so does that count?
6 // Love triangles, yes or no?
Not for me.
7 // The most recent book you couldn’t finish
Whose body? by Dorothy Sayers. Hoping to pick it back up at some point though.
8 // A book you’re currently reading
Max Einstein: The Genius Experiment by Chris Grabenstein and James Patterson.
9 // Last book you recommended to someone
The Star-spun Web by Sinead O’Hart to everyone I meet.
10 // Oldest book you’ve read by publication date
THIS TOOK ME SO LONG TO WORK OUT. It’s probably an Agatha Christie or a suffrage book.
11 // Newest book you’ve read by publication date
Enchantee by Gita Trelease
12 // Favourite author
Diana Wynne Jones, Neil Gaiman, Roald Dahl and Kiran Millwood-Hargrave to name a few.
13 // Buying books or borrowing books
BOTH. All the time.
14 // A book you dislike that everyone else seems to love
Game of Thrones. SO boring.
15 // Bookmark or dog ears?
Although I have a billion bookmarks, I always dog ear books. (I’M SORRY)
16 // A book you can always re-read
Harry Potter. A cliche choice, I know, but it’s true.
17 // Can you read while listening to music?
Nope. I need silence all the way.
18 // One POV or multiple?
Both. I love a change up.
19 // Do you read a book in one sitting or over multiple days?
It depends (I feel like this is my standard answer to all the questions). I love to binge-read, if I have the time. But most of the time I read in short bursts, whenever I can.
20 // Who do you tag?
YOU! (Especially if you haven’t done a tag in ages.)
I loved the Star Spun Web too! And I also couldn’t pick between buying and borrowing when I did this I think- I love doing both too much to choose just one! And I definitely prefer paperbacks too. Also, your photography is STUNNING 😍😍
Amy x
I love these. I read Max Einstein: The Genius Experiment by Chris Grabenstein and James Patterson to my son and we both enjoyed it. I love your Harry Potter pic. And not cliche.
