Sometimes, life can get a little hard. I have been pretty open with my anxiety on this blog, and I’ve found that making a little list of things that have made me smile every now and again can really help me calm, take a deep breath and enjoy life.
1 // I saw Black Panther. It was so freaking fantastic, and I want to see it again ASAP.
2 // I got my make-up done by a teenager, and my eyebrows never looked better.
3 // I had regular bubble baths, with a face mask and a good book and a glass of wine.
4 // I had a Harry Potter cocktail. It was yummy and delicious and didn’t taste like alcohol (which is basically my criteria for all drinks). Also, mine was ‘Polyjuice Potion’, and I didn’t have to put hair in it. #WIN
5 // I chilled with my cat.
6 // I brought a lavender candle that smells like heaven.
7 // My parents brought me a Ratatouille mug back from their trip to DisneyLand Paris.
8 // I’ve read books that inspired me, challenged me, made me laugh and cry, and spurred on my on writing efforts.
9 // I went to the dentist on my own, coz I’m an adult.
10 // My little sister turned 18. SHE’S AN ADULT NOW. How bonkers is that?
