If you’ve read my last few blog posts, you will know that for about a month now, I have been in the most HUMONGOUS reading slump known to man. Well, this book has changed all that, it has officially broken the slump.
There are so many words spinning round my head to describe THE ONLY THING WORSE THAN WITCHES. In no particular order they are:
Simply put, this book is wonderful. It tells the story of Rupert, who is such a great hero. He is brave and witty and kind and I rooted for him so much throughout the book. He lives in a town that has witches (which is the COOLEST thing ever) and applies to be a witches apprentice. The witch is actually a witchling (which is a witch in training) called Witchling 2 and needs help to pass her exams. Then pure, golden magic ensues…
I was entranced by this story, I whizzed through it so quickly and I am really hungry for more (*cough* hint hint Lauren).
This is pretty much it for this very short review (although I LOVED writing a review – I feel like I haven’t done one in AGES) but I am currently battling EVERY cold/cough/headache/stomach bug that Autumn has thrown at me.
Currently Listening to: Don’t by Ed Sheeren…And Shake it Off by Taylor Swift (Don’t judge – the song is just SO catchy!)
Currently Watching: The Great British Bake Off, which for those of you not in the UK is this competitive baking show with CAKES! It is AMAZING, and I am thoroughly addicted, and also hungry for cake.
