Top Ten Tuesday: The Top Ten Books I Hope Santa Brings Me!

1) Hogwarts Library by J. K Rowling – I will be a VERY happy girl if Santa brings me this. I desperately need to read this, especially for the upcoming movie.

2) The First Phone Call from Heaven by Mitch Albom – I read The Five People You Meet in Heaven by Mitch Albom and LOVED it!

3) The Magic Finger by Roald Dahl – I was the biggest Roald Dahl fan as a kid and I am itching to re-read my favourites!

4) Graceling by Kristen Cashore – I have heard so many good things about this book and have wanted to read it for ages – and Christmas is the perfect time to do it!

5) Midwinterblood by Marcus Sedgewick – another book I’ve heard loads of good things about!

6) Chime by Franny Billingsley – and another

7) Plain Kate by Erin Bow – one more!!

8) The Phantom Tollbooth by Norton Juster – This one looks right up my street!

9) The BFG by Roald Dahl – Another Roald Dahl book. I’m obsessed!

10) Ophelia and Marvelous Boy by Karen Foxlee – Okay so this one doesn’t technically come out for another month, so it would be a real Christmas miracle if Santa gave it to me, but I cannot wait to get my hands on it!

Merry Christmas Eve Everyone!

  1. Lovely to see the Dahls there. I’m too old to have read Dahl in my own childhood, but discovered him through my son. The BFG is my absolute favourite Dahl, although I haven’t read them all yet. Have you read The Minpins? Much less well known, but fabulous. I’m about to reread James and the Giant Peach, and The Magic Finger next month.

  2. That Hogwarts Library is so cute. THat would just be a good decoration. THE BFG is my favorite book ever. I’m going to get the tattoo of him on my wrist actually. It’s been my favorite book forever.
