- Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl adapted into a film starring Alice Englert and Alden Ehrenreich as Lena and Ethan.
Beautiful Creatures Trailer There has been a poster for this movie on the train station for months now, and everyday I would look at it and get more and more intrigued. So I watched the trailer – which seems amazing and when I saw that it was adapted from a book I knew I had to read it! So, I picked it up today, and so far its living up to expectations. Film out Feb 14th in UK - The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones by Cassandra Clare adapted into a film starring Lily Collins as Clary and Jamie Campbell Bower as Jace. City of Bones Trailer I read the books a while back and really enjoyed them, so I am interested to see how the film turns out. I have to admit the trailer got me really excited and I am really looking forwards to Jamie’s Jace. Released August 23rd 2013
- Divergent by Veronica Roth adapted in a film starring Shailene Woodley as Tris and maybe Kate Winslet if todays reports are to be believed? I loved the book, and like many other fans really liked the idea of Saiorse Ronan becoming Tris, but I think Shailene is a great actress and I cannot wait to see Divergent hit the big screen sometime in 2014
- The Hunger Games: Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins starring Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss, Josh Hutcherson as Peeta and Liam Hemsworth as Gale. Loved the first film, Jennifer Lawrence is AMAZING!! So excited for the next one! Out November 22nd 2013
- The Hobbit by J. R. R Tolkien adapted into a trilogy, the second of which is called The Desolation of Smaug starring Martin Freeman as Bilbo and Richard Armitage as Thorin I am such a hobbit geek, I read and re-read the book constantly and I loved the first film, I just can’t believe we nearly have to wait a year for the next one! Out late 2013.
